Teles Apartment

The renovation of this apartment reflects the aspects of the block in which it is located, which was awarded the CAU/DF seal.

Based on the principles of the open plan, the renovation evokes the apartment’s common area in a spacious manner, integrating the reading room with the living space. The kitchen, in turn, is delimited by a fully suspended stone dining table.

The materiality of the work reflects lightness and austerity, bringing white and wood elements to the walls in contrast to the unit’s darker floor. In addition, the window frame facing the interior of the residential block frames and brings a garden into the apartment.

The guest bathroom was designed to omit the shower area, transforming it into a lavatory at first glance. Only when the Formica door that is blended into the wall is opened does the bathroom become visible.

The apartment’s circulation is shaped by a linear light fixture designed and executed by the office, which has as a backdrop an MDF panel that accesses the pantry, toilet and private area of the unit.
