Gallo Apartment

The 58 sqm apartment is located on block SQS 414, in Brasília.

An important premise for the project was the large windows on the building’s facades, allowing abundant light and direct visual contact with the surrounding vegetation.

The kitchen, integrated with the rest of the apartment, was designed with a single material for the floor and wall, spatially defining the area. The same material dictates the greenish tone of the carpentry and marble work to maintain the continuity of the vertical and horizontal planes.

The MDF laminate grain panel conceals the service area equipment and the bathroom door, aligning with the boundaries of the integrated kitchen. Produced with the same MDF, a piece of furniture separates the bedroom and living room areas, functioning as a wardrobe on one side and a TV base facing the living room on the other. This element does not touch the apartment ceiling, allowing full entry of light into the apartment while delineating the different spaces.
