ARQBR works on complementary fronts that make up a broad field of work.
The design practice is fostered by experience in the execution of works and by critical reflection, which occurs in the office itself and, more broadly, in academic activities. Constant contact with different public sector bodies allows us to offer support to professionals from other states, representing them in the approval and licensing processes for projects in Brasília.
Projects
The firm develops projects of different scales, types and programs, from residential and corporate renovations to large-scale urban projects, including houses, institutional, educational, cultural and commercial buildings.
The projects are based on the relationships with the context in which they are inserted, thus valuing the public dimension and the human scale (private and collective) intrinsic to architecture and urbanism. In this way, they seek to contribute to the promotion of coexistence, the very notion of citizenship, and urbanity in the cities in which they are implemented.
Execution Works
To ensure fidelity and quality in the execution of projects, we offer Construction Management and Construction Supervision services.
Construction Management is the activity that consists of controlling the technical and economic aspects of the development of a project or technical service, involving the administration of contracts and including strict control of the established physical and financial schedule.
Construction Supervision is the activity performed by a professional or company in Architecture and Urban Planning that consists of verifying the implementation of the project in the project or technical service, aiming to ensure that its execution faithfully complies with the definitions and technical specifications contained therein.
To provide these services, we have a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience in projects of various types and scales.
Academic Activities
Since its inception, ARQBR has promoted and participated in activities that bring together architects, professors and students around the debate and production of projects that are relevant to the city and to architectural criticism.
These are design workshops, seminars, lectures and debates, both at the academy and in other spaces in the city. With the aim of enhancing these events, ARQBR, together with the offices BLOCO Arquitetos and Estúdio MRGB, founded the collective Atelier Piloto.
Consulting
ARQBR monitors projects from offices not based in Brasília.
The service includes assistance in processing project approval with the competent bodies and consultancy for adapting projects to local legislation, in addition to the availability of physical space for work when professionals from these offices are in Brasília.
