EGS Office

The office is located on a commercial building near the Monumental Axis, close to the JK Memorial. With a small area of 35 sqm, the main objective of the space is to accommodate the owner’s workstation, a lounge area, and a meeting table. Additionally, it was necessary to include a kitchenette, restroom, shower room, and equipment storage area.

The original, irregularly shaped floor plan was divided into two parts by drawing a line of cabinets parallel to the window, interrupted only by the entrance corridor. This arrangement freed up enough space to create a single environment for the three main uses: workstation, lounge, and meeting area. The cabinets conceal, with folding doors, support functions for the room such as the kitchenette, printers, equipment storage, and cleaning supplies. Complementary white cabinets were fixed to the end walls to serve the meeting table on one side and the workstation on the other.

In the other part of the room, behind the line of cabinets, are located the restroom and the shower room, one on each side of the entrance corridor. The treatment given to the corridor, fully covered with wooden flooring, highlights the intention to keep the doors and the electrical panel camouflaged, directing the view from the entrance towards the lounge furniture.
